This week for writing we had to make a poster to advertise a book that we enjoy from our school library.  We had to have a catchy question and some interesting adjectives on our poster.  Here is mine.

Last week we were writing diamante poems.  We had to brainstorm words that were to do with ANZAC Day.  Here is my list of words.
We were learning about nouns, verbs and adjectives.

This week for numeracy I did a google drawing of how to do place value to 1000. Here it is. I found this hard but I learnt a lot.  I learnt about tens, hundreds and thousands, and what columns they go in.

Shark in the dark

The book is a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating from me

The book is about a boy who thinks he is seeing a shark but the first time the shark was a sail boat. The next time it was a seagull, the next time it was an ice cream. Then his dad put him to bed and you could see a shark in the distance.
This is a very funny story.

Recycled Creature Art Reflection

This week we made recycled creatures. I made a shark all by myself.

I made it out of a paper cup and toothpicks and cellotape and pom pom balls.
